Deaglán Ó Donghaile

Deaglán Ó Donghaile is a literary critic, political writer, and cultural historian.  His books Oscar Wilde and the Radical Politics of the Fin de Siècle and Blasted Literature: Victorian Political Fiction and the Shock of Modernism are both published by Edinburgh University Press.  He teaches at Liverpool John Moores University and is currently completing a political biography of Oscar Wilde, entitled Revolutionary Wilde.  He is also writing a book on the continuing legacy of counterinsurgency in Ireland.  His blog, Irish Dissent, can be found at https://irishdissent.wordpress.com/
